The 18th National Symposium on Plasma Science & Technology (PLASMA-2003) is being organized by Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Plasma Science Society of India during December 08 - 11, 2003.

In view of the strategic location of Ranchi amidst several Industries and Organizations like CCL, CMPDI, RDCIS, SAIL, MECON, HEC, TISCO, TELCO, Usha Martin, INDALCO, NML, ISM, involved in minerals and mining, steel making, automobiles, the focal theme of the symposium has been chosen as “Plasma for Industrial Applications”.

A number of eminent invited speakers, spanning across the globe, in the fields of Plasma Science & Technology will discuss the current interests and recent progress in this area of ever-growing interest.
